Dr. Marianne O'Byrne,
Clinical Registered Psychologist

I am a Registered Psychologist who graduated from the Counselling and Clinical Psychology program at the University of Toronto (OISE/UT). I enjoy working with adults and couples who are struggling to cope with a variety of life stressors and challenges.

Ms. Nadine Simard, Registered Psychotherapist

I am a registered psychotherapist, working under the supervision of Dr. Marianne O'Byrne. I completed a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. I am genuine, caring, and compassionate, and I like to provide a safe therapeutic space to nurture my client’s unique strengths and aspirations.

I am a registered psychotherapist, working under supervision of Dr. Marianne O'Byrne. I completed a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. I strive to create a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard. I use a holistic approach to help create long-term change in their thoughts and beliefs.

I am working as a registered psychotherapist under the supervision of Dr. Marianne O’Byrne. I approach psychotherapy from a client-centered perspective that is holistic and non-judgmental. I emphasize that clients are much more than their presenting problems and challenges, while I foster a safe, empathetic environment in which to address them.

I work from a strengths-based perspective to build on the skills and knowledge you already have to improve your mental health and wellness. You are the expert in your own life, and my goal is to support you in your struggles and successes.

Ms. Jasmine Olsen,
Registered 
Psychotherapist

I am a registered psychotherapist, working under the supervision of Dr. Marianne O’Byrne. I offer a therapeutic space where individuals can expect to feel accepted and safe to share anything that you bring into therapy. My approach is person-centered, trauma-informed and anti-oppressive. I primarily work from a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) lens.

Ms. Julie Putman,
Occupational Therapist, Psychotherapist 

I am an occupational therapist registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. I started my career focusing on physical health but I inevitably made the shift to work in the world of mental health as it was calling to me. I primarily use acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) approaches.

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

I am currently pursuing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). As a former first responder, advocating for mental health awareness and supporting first responders is my unwavering passion. I use a collaborative approach that includes the tools from CBT, strength-based therapies, and mindfulness.

Deborah Stewart,
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

I am currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. My academic background includes a degree in psychology from Queen’s University and a veterinary technician diploma from Algonquin College. I enjoy working alongside with LGBTQIA+ populations and people struggling with grief, loss, PTSD, and anxiety.

We are grateful for their courage and compassion and for their tireless dedication to our communities. Too often, their sacrifices go unnoticed, and their exhaustive responsibilities consume them. We see the scars – visible and hidden deep within – and as a small gesture of acknowledgment to say, “We see you, and we appreciate you”, Thrive Psychology and Wellness Centre commits to giving back 1% of our first responder intervention revenue to people-focused first responder organizations.
