PROGRESSIVE MUSCLE RELAXATION
Progressive Muscle Relaxation is an exercise that assists you in reducing bodily tensions and relaxing your mind by by progressively tensing and relaxation muscle groups throughout your entire body. I will walk you through 16 muscle groups and ask you to mindfully tense, but not strain, each area to study the sensions of tension followed by the feeling of relaxation. If you experience any pain or discomfort with a specific muscle group, please feel free to skip that step. In addition to the Progressive Muscle Relaxation practice, I will take you through a deeping phase, following by bringing attention to yoru breathing before alerting you back to your surroundings. As you engage, remember to keep breathing. Now find a quiet, comfortable position and let’s begin.
