In this orientation session you will learn about our DBT group for adults with a history of trauma. In this virtual 24-week group, skills will be introduced and practiced to improve mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness. You will learn why these skills are helpful, when to implement them, and how their use will help to effectively manage the trauma-related intense emotions that interfere with recovery and adaptive living.
